Born and raised in the Catalunya region of Spain, Executive Chef Rubén Beltran Castellnou has been in the industry for 20 years. His passion for his craft has brought him to helm prestigious kitchens in France, the UK, and now Hola Bombón in Manila. We invite you to join him in his great culinary journey.

In this class, you will learn how to make traditional Spanish dishes that are typically prepared during the summer and shared with friends and family.

 

Chef Rubén will guide you on how to make the Spanish national dish, paella – using homemade chicken stock. To round out your meal, you’ll also be making a summer Gazpacho and a chocolate dessert.

The City of Segovia is famous for many things – their lively summer fiestas such as bullfighting, religious processions, colorful parades and most especially – their legendary cochinillo.

In this Cocina Española class, Chef Rubén teaches you how to prepare the celebratory dishes that are typical of a traditional Segovian feast – with the cochinillo or roasted suckling pig as the star of the show.

Our well-loved first Cocina Española class gets a delicious update. Here, Chef Rubén teaches you how to make more traditional Spanish dishes that are typically prepared during the summer and shared with friends and family. For A Summer Saturday in Spain 2.0, you’ll learn how to make the Negra recipe of Spain’s national dish, paella.

To round out your meal, you’ll also be making a crowd favorite, Croquetas de Jamón and the classic Peras al Vino.
